Aurobindo Pharma Foundation
Aurobindo Pharma Foundation was established in 2015 as the philanthropic arm of Aurobindo Pharma Limited with an aim to change and improve the lives of the marginalised and socio-economically disadvantaged communities, and strive to bring about these changes through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme primarily focusing in business locations. However, CSR is more than just a legal obligation for us, we go beyond the CSR framework to take on a diverse array of projects based on the situational requirements and needs and necessities of the stakeholders/beneficiaries and to make meaningful social investments. The foundation is manned with professionals and experts to deal from conceptualization to execution and monitoring of various CSR projects besides engaging relevant agencies and subject matter experts on need basis.
Details of the Foundation
The Foundation was registered as a Trust with the URN AAETA9899H/07/15-16/T-0955 on 23rd September 2015 and was later incorporated as a Section 8 Company on 20th July 2020 with the corporate identity number U85200TG2020NPL141954, to conceptualize, execute and monitor the CSR projects and act as a philanthropic arm of Aurobindo Pharma Limited and thus, promote the vision of the company to create a more equitable and inclusive society as defined in our CSR policy.
