Aurobindo Pharma Foundation (APF) has collaborated with APMAS NGO to facilitate the formation of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in Borapatla, Telangana and Pileru, Andhra Pradesh. Through these FPOs, small and marginal farmers are learning sustainable/climate-smart agricultural practices, taken for demo-plot visits, being given access to high-tech farming equipment, and creating improved market linkages. 

Furthermore, APF has established lift irrigation schemes to Sangareddy and Wanaparthy districts of Telangana states, which are providing assured irrigation to over 1,730 acres of cultivable land.

Altogether, around 40,791 farmers are benefiting through our Sustainable Agriculture endeavours.
