Aurobindo Pharma Foundation unveils Aurobindo Oncology Block at MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad, a state-of-the-art facility that will provide tertiary.


Many girl students in Anakapalli Rural, Urban and Kasimkota mandal of Anakapalli district have poor attendance, academic performance, and increased dropout rate. This can be particularly attributed to non-availability of transportation facilities in remote rural areas. In order to tackle this issue, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation (APF) provided 2,550 bicycles to girl students from 33 government schools in the above mentioned mandals of Anakapalli district.
Aurobindo Pharma Foundation (APF) keeps thriving to improve educational infrastructure in rural schools, in alignment with the National Education Policy, 2021 and accordingly, this project is designed and will be executed under CSR. The identified girl students are mainly underprivileged and impoverished high school students residing at a distance of 2-5 kilometres from their schools.
On 29 th July 2023, 2,550 bicycles were distributed to the identified girl students from 31 government schools in the district of Anakapalli by Sri G. Amarnath, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Infrastructure and IT and Sri K. Nityananda Reddy, Director, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation, Vice-Chairman and MD, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., in the presence of public representatives and APF Team.
