Aurobindo Pharma Foundation unveils Aurobindo Oncology Block at MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad, a state-of-the-art facility that will provide tertiary.
Sankara Eye Foundation is a social eyecare enterprise with 45 years of presence, providing cost effective community eye health services to the underprivileged communities in the society. Currently, Sankara Eye Foundation has established 12 hospitals with world class facilities and robust infrastructure in 8 states of India catering to the rural & the urban population in those areas. They have constructed a new hospital in Nanakramguda area of Hyderabad to provide improved eyecare facilities and treat eye-related ailments in order to prevent or cure blindness. To support their cause, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation has come forward to fund the establishment of the Department of Optometry in the newly established eye hospital. The Department of Optometry comprises of 8 cubicles and is fully equipped with high-grade ophthalmic equipment.
The Department was inaugurated on 7th April 2023 by Dr. R.V. Ramani, Founder & Managing Trustee, Sankara Eye Foundation and Sri S. Sadananda Reddy, Head – CSR, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation.
