Aurobindo Pharma Foundation unveils Aurobindo Oncology Block at MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad, a state-of-the-art facility that will provide tertiary.


Sri Sankara Gurukula Veda Patasala (SSGVP), was established in the year 1984, to provide Vedic teaching and promote Ancient Indian Art and Culture in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Over the last 39 years, SSGVP is engaged in the preservation of Ancient Indian Culture and Tradition of Oral recitation of Vedas in the Indian Traditional Gurukula system.
As the strength of this school steadily increased, it was shifted to a building nearby Secunderabad, presently there are around 150 students who are being provided free food, accommodation and being trained in the Indian Traditional Veda Recitation.
With the rising demand of admissions to get into this Vedic School the student strength continues to increase, and a new facility is required for the students where they can receive free education, food, and accommodation. At this juncture, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation was approached by Sri Sankara Gurukula Veda Patasala Trust for the construction of a new Veda Patasala building in a serene location in Shameerpet.
With a built-up area of 21,063 square feet, consisting of 30 classrooms, this facility is now equipped to accommodate an additional 300 students.
The new Vedasadanam Block was inaugurated by Sri Sachidananda Saraswathi Swamiji, Dharmapuri Srimatam Tuni, Hon’ble Justice Shri Ramasubramaniam, Supreme Court of India, and Hon’ble Justice Shri Pamidighantam Narsimha, Supreme Court of India accompanied by Sri K. Ragunathan, Independent Director & Non-Executive Chairman, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., Sri Dr. M. Sivakumaran, Director, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation & Director, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., and Sri S. Sadananda Reddy, CSR Head, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation on 18th March 2023.
